Brand vs. Experience

When I joined, RISExSHINE was at a crossroads. We had a beautiful brand and high-fidelity UI, but we lacked a functional roadmap to get it all to the finish line. I stepped in to bridge the gap between the design vision and engineering reality, translating ambitious concepts into a streamlined, shippable MVP.

Key Achievments

• Successfully transitioned a fragmented design library into a high-fidelity MVP for iOS and Android on an aggressive timeline.

• Bridged the gap between product management and engineering by establishing a technically viable workflow that moved the project from stalled to shipped.

• Defined the "Challenge-Vote-Reward" system as the primary driver, ensuring a rock-solid engagement hook for the initial launch.

•Navigated complex technical hurdles and shifting requirements to ship a polished MVP under intense deadline pressure.

Challenges & Blockwatch

Challenges function like episodes within a show, based on user interests, covering everything from sports to self-help. Users earn "Intelligence Points" by engaging with varied content—from mastering a dance move via picture-in-picture to passing quizzes on interesting videos. This participation extends to Blockwatch, where users earn rewards for reviewing and validating community submissions.

Duels & Team/Global Leaderboard

Duels drive competition by pairing submissions side-by-side, prompting users to vote on the best performance. This interactive loop encourages viewers to jump in and attempt the challenge themselves. Standings are tracked via real-time leaderboards, allowing users to see how they rank both in specific challenges and on a global scale.
